This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it. I bring you a message from God’s Holy word. Pray with me now won’t you.
Holy father. Thou who forgives and heals our diseases. Thou who fills our lives with mercy. Glory be to your name. We give you praise and thanks for giving us the opportunity to breathe the oxygen of life. Please forgive our sins and pour on us your Holy Spirit. May the blood of Christ break any shackle of Satan projected to infringe the transmission of His Holy word in the name of Jesus, the Christ. Amen.

We read the scripture from 2 Chronicles 7:14
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall ahumble themselves, and bpray, and seek my cface, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attentive unto the prayer that is made in this place.
Our God is a faithful God and what He says He will do, He does.
The Lord promised David telling him: I shall not let you build a temple for me but your son will do so. It came to pass certainly so. Solomon, when He was chosen, and when he was asked what he wanted, said to God that he wanted wisdom.
God gave it and God was faithful. Trust God my brother my sister. The words of God are true and untainted in potency like the sharp point of a needle.
When Solomon had prayed and dedicated the temple, he asked God to dwell in the temple. He prayed fervently before all the people on the altar until fire came from heaven to devour the altar. He said to God, to hear the prayer of the people who come to the temple, to forgive their sin if they come before him. After Solomon’s prayer, God sent fire from heaven directly to consume the sacrifice on the altar.
Look our God is a consuming fire, full of power, grace and mercy. The word of God came to Solomon. God said to Solomon; I have heard your prayer. God is a prayer answering God. Any time we go on our Knees and cry, God hears us. In our woes; in our sorrows, in our weakness, in our troubles, in our persecutions, the Lord hears us. You may have given up, but no, don’t give up for the Lord hears you.
He said to Solomon, I may have sent trouble to the people, maybe I shut off the rain, or I sent locust to destroy the land, but Solomon let them know that they are people who are called by my name. If they shall humble themselves, if they shall pray, if they shall seek my face, if they shall turn from their wicked ways, then I shall hear them from heaven and I shall heal their Land says the Lord.
He said to Solomon, I have heard your prayer but there are four things your people should do. God’s message to solomon comes to you and I today. Today God is calling to all His children, to them that call on the name of God; to you who claim you know God; to you who claim you are Christians and believers. The Lord says be careful you can’t just put God’s name upon yourself. You cannot just call yourself a child of God. He says to humble yourself. There are many today who hide under the name of Christ; many who hide under the name of God. God says before he hears you, humble yourself. Check the way you talk, is it because you have money? No! humble yourself. Is it because of your degrees? No! humble yourself under the mighty hand of God. Humans are nothing. Let us pray for humility for life is short and humans return to dust as if it is a joke. There are many of us who feel too big and boast.
Many of us look down upon others and think ourselves more important than others. We get disrespectful and treat our neighbors obscenely. The Lord says humble yourself and the Lord will uplift you. You are nothing and I am nothing but dust. The Lord says we should humble ourselves and He shall lift us up. Why are you so disrespectful? Why do you speak to your husband or wife harshly? Our lips close when death lays its icy hands on us. During the onset of the deadly Corona Virus, I experienced the worthlessness of man. COVID invaded the lives of men and made them void and null. Humans were thrown into long trucks by bull dozers like trash. Who are you? Who will take the wealth they have to the grave? The Lord says humble yourself and he will hear your prayer. Let us humble ourselves and walk in the ways of Jehovah and He will hear us.
Lord says come before me in prayer. Prayer is simply the most unbelievable powerful weapon against the enemy that connects us to God and brings down His power to us. He says pray without ceasing. He says pray so that you will not fall into temptation. God says to you and to me. Humble yourself and pray. Jesus said man must pray without fainting. Do not wait for trouble to happen before you pray. God wants a relationship with us. The Lord says we should seek His face. We should beseech him for His power. As we pray our Spirit connects our God. As we pray our Spirit is revived. As we pray our Spitit is lifted up. Where are the Christian intercessors? The prince of the power of the air is working in the children of disobedience. It is time to pray to change the world and to draw men to Christ. Christians must wake up. The Lord says seek my face. This means we commit all ourselves to Him asking for His grace and mercy. This means we must ask for the power of His Holy Spirit. Finally, the Lord says stay away from your foolish ways. Our sins are a barrier. What are your sins? What are you doing? You have some sins in your life but you have got some excuses for it. Ask yourself. What are your secret sins?. We cannot walk before God in rugs and tainted with dirt. We must leave our sins and the lord will heal our land. The Lord will not hear us if we shall continue in our sins. The Lord says he will hear you from heaven should we observe these four things. We need God to make us prosper. We need God in our lives to make things work out. This is God’s message to you today. If you are struggling with these four things, the Lord says He can deliver you. Just humble yourself in prayer. Seek forgiveness and tell Him to draw you closer to him. Pray this prayer now.
Dear Heavenly Father, I am a sinner. Forgive my sins. I leave my sins and repent of them. (Say the sins)I need you to help me with humility, give me the gift of your humility and give me the ability to pray. I want to walk with you. Please help me. In the name of Jesus, the Christ, Amen.
